It’s hard to explain to anyone not on twitter the immense hole that is going to be left behind in the wake of it’s demise. Maybe this will be great for news; stories will slow down, writers will get more subscribers (please subscribe?), or papers will see more donations.
Personally, I am going to have to come to terms with losing connections to a lot of experts on the ongoing pandemic. What? Yes. It is still a pandemic!
I am also going to see resources for writing pitches go away, after starting to get settled enough to start writing again. Hence, my Substack.
As I get going, I am sure the content on here will change over time. For now, know that at two week intervals you will hear from me with resources on COVID, climate change news, notes on what I am working on, recommendation’s on who and what I am reading and or watching, parenting notes and a splash of good news for a measure of hope. Gotta have some hope.
